Festival Venues Announced

We’re taking over some of the coolest Old Town Fort Collins venues for the 2018 book fest! We’re excited to partner once again with Downtown Artery, Old Firehouse Books, Old Town Library, and Wolverine Farm Publick House. Each of these organizations has been an important part of the FoCo Book Fest since the inaugural event in 2016.

We also return to Block One Events and New Belgium Brewing for author talks, panel presentations, and other special activities.

With the focus on science and technology this year, we’ve added a few new venues that we think you’ll be excited to visit: Art Lab Fort Collins, Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, the CSU Powerhouse, and Lory Student Center on CSU’s main campus.

Old Firehouse Books Named Official Bookseller of FoCo Book Fest

The Fort Collins Book Festival is excited to again partner with Old Firehouse Books as the official bookseller of the 2018 festival.

The popular indie bookstore will have copies of The Big Think authors’ books available for purchase at their store (232 Walnut St., Fort Collins) prior to the festival. They will also have book sales set up onsite at various festival venues on the main day of the event (Saturday, Oct. 20) for author signings.

“Old Firehouse Books is proud to be the official bookseller for the Fort Collins Book Festival. It is a great program, and the one thing we love more than (okay, the same as) books is getting to work with other members of our community. Without the support of our community, Old Firehouse Books wouldn’t be what it is today, so we are happy for any chance we have to give back and say thanks,” says Renee Becher, events manager at Old Firehouse Books.

All book signings are open to the public. It is each author’s discretion whether or not they will personalize book signings or sign collectibles or other paraphernalia. Please contact Old Firehouse Books with any questions: 970-484-7898 or www.OldFirehouseBooks.com.

These guidelines have been put in place to ensure the best possible experience for both authors and attendees.
