Susan Shriner

DR. SUSAN A. SHRINER is a quantitative biologist at the National Wildlife Research Center, the research arm of the USDA-APHIS Wildlife Services program. As a wildlife epidemiologist and disease ecologist she has an interest in avian influenza, avian blood parasites, and spatial ecology. Her current research examines the shedding dynamics of avian influenza virus in mallards; cross immunity and antibody stability for avian influenza viruses; and the role of wildlife in antimicrobial resistance associated with agricultural operations.
