Sharon Phillips Gusmer

SHARON PHILLIPS GUSMER hails from Daytona Beach, Florida, where she grew up studying both art and cooking. She then earned a degree in Baking and Pastry from The Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, California, and then worked as a pastry chef in Napa, and taught cooking classes for Sur La Table in Sonoma, CA. Sharon moved to Fort Collins with her husband so he could study fermentation at CSU (his family is in wine making). She was on the opening team here at Ginger and Baker, working as a bakery manager before she moved into managing the Teaching Kitchen.
