Autumn Bernhardt

Poet and writer

Autumn Bernhardt is the Poet Laureate of Fort Collins, Colorado.  Professor Bernhardt teaches environmental stewardship and justice courses but has also run a livestock operation and served as a Colorado Assistant Attorney General, Tribal Attorney for the White Mountain Apache Tribe, and Judicial Law Clerk.  Autumn’s writing has been featured in six book collections.  Additional work has appeared over 30 times in international, regional, and Indigenous journals and magazines.
