NOTE: There is construction happening near the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, one of our festival venues. Access to the museum is only open via College Ave. Other roads — Cherry St. and Mason St. — are closed.

But, don’t worry! We have a free shuttle that can help you get around the festival with ease. And, it will a beautiful day for a walk.

Free Shuttle Service

Go green! The Fort Collins Book Fest has added a new option to help you get around the festival venues: Free rides from Biodiesel for Bands shuttle service!

The shuttle will be available on Saturday, October 20 from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

You can request a ride to and from any of the book festival venues (excluding CSU) by calling or texting BFB Shuttle at (970) 795-2590 with your location and destination. The shuttle will arrives within a few minutes.

The shuttle is a great option especially for sessions at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery — access the Museum is only available from College right now due to construction. You can’t use Cherry St., Mason St., or any other way because of construction.

Bus

Parking is limited in downtown Fort Collins and around some of our festival venues. We encourage attendees to use RideTransfort public buses and the MAX Bus Rapid Transit if possible. Of course, there are always options through ride-shares like Uber and Lyft.

Bike

Pace Fort Collins is a bike share program that allows you to rent bikes all over town 24/7. Check out the Fort Collins Bike Share website for more information. Bringing your own bike? There are lots of racks available at the venues to secure your bicycle.

Downtown Parking

If you’re driving down to the festival, remember that parking can be limited in areas. See the City of Fort Collins parking map to help you find parking.
