Elaine Weiss will be speaking on CSU campus to celebrate the paperback release of “The Woman’s Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote.” Old Firehouse Books is partnering with the CSU Women and Gender Collaborative to host award-winning author Elaine Weiss! This event is free and open to the public. Elaine Weiss is a journalist and writer whose work has appeared in The Atlantic, Harper’s, and The New York Times. “The Woman’s Hour” delves into the nail-biting climax of one of the greatest political battles in American history. The book follows a handful of remarkable women who led their respective forces into battle. It is a truly inspiring story of activists winning their own freedom.
