An Evening with Author Nancy Geise

March 20 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free
Nancy Geise speaks about her remarkable biography of Fort Collins’s own Joe Rubinstein, “Auschwitz #34207: The Joe Rubinstein Story.” Part of the CSU Author Series. In 2007, a chance meeting here in Fort Collins, brought Nancy and Holocaust survivor Joe Rubinstein together. Neither had any idea then where their friendship would lead. Nancy has dedicated her life to sharing Joe’s remarkable story so that the world never forgets the Holocaust and its life lessons for us all. Nancy has been invited to share Joe’s story around the world including the United States Library of Congress and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. In January 2018, Nancy was asked to speak to the staff and guides of the Auschwitz Memorial & Museum in Poland. “Auschwitz #34207” has been awarded Book of the Year by several national publishing organizations. This event is free and open to the public. Book sales and signing to follow hosted by Old Firehouse Books. All book sale profits are shared equally with Joe.
